Bio
Josie D Wong holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Antioch University and is passionate about creating messy female protagonists. She thrives on exploring the intricacies of human nature through her writing, diving into themes of dysfunction, power dynamics, and identity formation.
Currently juggling an unpublished novel, a TV pilot, and short stories, Josie loves to write about characters who are as ridiculously flawed as real people. During office hours, Josie puts on a branded cape as a marketing executive with nearly 25 years of global experience, though she suspects her coworkers are still waiting for her to save the day. Her characters, much like her mornings, are wonderfully chaotic and never fail to surprise.
She is dedicated to building connections within the writing community and sharing insights into her creative journey, one unlikeable, yet relatable character at a time. When she’s not weaving tales she’s weaving, literally or sometimes playing video games with her husband and daughter.
